The Wheeler Dodgeball Benefit Tournament is Wheeler Interests’ 2nd annual charity dodgeball tournament. This year the tournament will benefit Horizons Hampton Roads, an independent, non-profit Virginia corporation offering a unique summer experience to students in families with limited incomes who attend public elementary or middle schools in Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Every summer since 1997, Horizons has offered a continued connection to learning in independent school settings. Through the assistance of partners, Norfolk and Virginia Beach public schools and independent schools, Cape Henry Collegiate and Norfolk Collegiate Schools, Portsmouth Catholic and Portsmouth public schools and the support of many Hampton Roads individuals, corporations, and organizations, Horizons Hampton Roads provides eligible students up to nine summers filled with fun and rewarding experiences.
The 2nd Annual 2009 Wheeler Dodgeball tournament will be held on Saturday, August 15th (10 A.M.–3 P.M.) at Virginia Wesleyan College (Norfolk, VA) so reserve your sponsorships and teams now! Regular registration for this year's tournament opens on April 15th.
